The Indonesian Ministry of information and Informatics added 11 Web sites that get listed in the block. The website contains content rated SARA.
The Directorate General Informatics Application Kominfo has cast a notification letter to the internet service provider to do the blocking. "With this please let can add 11Sites containing content SARA into the system filtering every ISP," wrote Kominfo to the ISP.
Eleven of these sites are lemahirengmedia.com, portalpiyungan.com, islam.com, smstauhiid.com, beritaislam24h.com, bersatupos.com, mail-metro.com, jurnalmuslim.com, media-nkri.net, lontaranews.com and nusanews.com.
"Possibly related incidents lately where it occurs it is unwanted, SARA and radicalism. Most are from the report of the society and the institutions, "said Bureau Chief Publicist Plt Kominfo Ministry Noor Iza when talking with detikINET.
Noor Iza not denied if blocking the eleventh site was also to dampen the atmosphere heat related action demonstrations to be conducted November 4 tomorrow. He added a blocked site manager can file an objection.
